Steps To The Kingdom
By Margaret Heinmiller
On Saturday morning, November 14th, 1970, I felt the hand of the Lord heavy upon me and remained quiet before Him for some time in the Word and in prayer. He gave me an open vision and I am writing it down on this 18th day of November as I feel there is depth of truth here that I must see with eyes and hear with my ears.
I saw our church filled with people for a morning worship service and I was standing on the steps of the platform with the pastor, but yet it was not the pastor. It was Jesus, and the words of this Scripture came to my ears, “And when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
He spoke and said to me, “Ask these people to tell you how they see Me.” I did as He said, and from the extreme right hand came a voice calling out, “I see Jesus as the Light.” Jesus said, “That is one who sat in darkness and now has seen the Light of the world.” Another voice closer to me called out, “I see Jesus as the Lamb of God.” Jesus said, “This is the centurion who stood at the cross and said, “Truly this was the Son of God.” Another voice called out, “I see Him as the Water of Life.” Jesus said, “She is the woman of Samaria who has come to the well, for she is thirsty.” Another voice said, “I see Him as the Shepherd.” Jesus said, “This is a sheep of the fold who needs to be watched and cared for.” Another called out and said, “I see Him as the Door.” Jesus said, “There is a sheep who is restless and searching for a more excellent way and a deeper walk.” Another voice said, “I see Him as the Bread of Heaven.” Jesus said, “This one has followed the Shepherd through the door into the wilderness and is now getting hungry for the Bread of Life.” Another voice called out, “I see Jesus as Lord.” Jesus said, “This one is in the place of submission and is judging himself. He is now seeing the Righteous Judge seated upon the throne of his heart.” The next voice called, “I see Jesus as the High Priest,” To which Jesus replied, “Here is one who has been judged and now presents himself before the Lord of heaven that he may be perfected through the sacrifice of praise and the offering of thanksgiving.” The next voice called out, “I see Jesus as King.” Jesus said, “This one has entered the kingdom prepared for him and all the saints. He shall walk in the glory of it and do the works of the kingdom on the earth.”
(Prophecy) Now listen to My words and let your understanding be quickened. The one who sits in darkness has seen a great Light. If he will come to the Light and see the Lamb of God upon the cross and recognize Him as the Son of God, and receive Him as a Savior, he shall be saved, even as the thief who died upon his cross was saved. Then he must come to Me at the well to receive at My hand the water of life, which, if he drink of it, it shall be a well of water in him springing up into everlasting life. These three steps will bring him to the True Shepherd and will make him a sheep of My fold.
I stand at the door and call to him to follow Me wherever I go. If he truly hungers for a deeper walk with Me, he will hear My voice and follow Me out of the sheepfold into the wilderness. There I will feed him of the bread of My own flesh and he shall be MY disciple for he has forsaken all and separated himself unto Me. This life is a life of discipline—a wilderness journey—reserved only for those who will forsake all and follow Me.
It is here that I shall manifest Myself to him as Lord—the Lord of Judgment. And I will sit on the throne of his heart and judge his words and his works and he will share in the afflictions and the chastisements which I have ordained for him who would be manifested to the world as a son of God, a joint-heir with Me and worthy to be called My brother.
There he shall recognize Me as his Great High Priest and I shall confess him before My Father and the holy angels in the Most holy Place of His habitation, and My Father shall turn His face to him and show him the glory of His kingdom and He shall say to him, “Enter into the joy of they rest, for you are a blessed one in the earth and you shall be My witness with power, and you shall glorify My name in the earth. Then he shall see the glory of My throne and he shall see Me as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and he shall be like me for he shall see me as I am, and My Father shall say to him, “Sit with My Son upon His throne, for you shall reign with Him and you shall judge all nations and shall share in His glory …for you shall be a crown in the hand of My Son and a diadem in My hand, and you shall walk on high places of the earth as I have decreed in the mouth of My holy prophets …and you shall be called the holy one of God, for I shall tabernacle with you and you shall walk before me and bring the kingdom upon the earth. I, the Lord thy God, have spoken it and I shall bring it to pass …I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Amen and Amen (end of prophesy)

How can a proud and disobedient daughter or son be transformed into an obedient and humble one? What defence can he or she ever offer up? In His presence there is silence.
How misunderstood God’s judgements are…..Yes, I do know them …He has never let me get away with one thing, no not one. What Love!! What care!! How watchful He is…What safety, what security….How He must love me…and with every stroke of that rod I can only agree….He is a wise Father….His correction has become quieter, and my ear more attentive, my step quicker to obey….His rod takes many forms and is my comfort …How misunderstood His Spirit, His comforter is….His sons and daughters know His dealing and His leading.
(Beginning quote) …It is here that I shall manifest Myself to him as Lord—the Lord of Judgment. And I will sit on the throne of his heart and judge his words and his works and he will share in the afflictions and the chastisements which I have ordained for him who would be manifested to the world as a son of God, a joint-heir with Me and worthy to be called My brother…(End Quote)
If we willingly share His cup, this cup of suffering, we are His joint heirs and are well known by Him as brothers and sisters……Oh!! how long it takes to come to the willing part, the surrender part. and how I have struggled to save something that is so utterly putrid and worthless, a weighty, rotten carcas….Now I have surrendered I realise how blind I have been, groping about in darkness. I only knew my Father as a young willful child and have not honoured His Son as Lord…..It is only the Spirit that rises up from those waters as it is completely severed from the weight of the flesh. .We can only know Him and be known by Him as Spirit and only know our brothers and sisters as Spirit….now we can merge as One….and in this He truly is glorified.

There are many things that the natural man would consider unholy…..How precious in His sight is the death of His saints…and this is holy ground.
